A range of client Headshots
At the end of a Headshot session you should have the opportunity to look through the images that have been obtained.
Ideally, you will have been given the chance to change your outfit, and in the case of a female Headshot session, maybe a change of hair style and makeup as well.
With the coaching techniques used by your photographer, and the little tips and tricks that they have up their sleeve to get you to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, there should be a range of looks for you to choose from that portray you as confident and approachable, 2 key elements that potential clients will be looking for before they decide to contact you.
They need to feel that you are an authority in your field, that you are friendly and approachable, and that they can trust you to deliver whatever their needs may be.
Take a look at the Headshot you're using at the moment and ask yourself if it's sending the right message to people who are finding you for the first time online. If the answer is no, then it may be time to up your game and start thinking about updating your Headshot to one that will encourage potential clients to contact you.
We all like to know who we're dealing with when we're looking to do business with someone for the first time, and we all go to the profile image, or the "About Me" or "Meet the Team" pages of their websites. Make sure you're not missing out on potential business and get your Headshot working for you.
